Abitare is the best internationally known Italian magazine about architecture. Since its foundation in 1961, Abitare has been published in two languages - Italian and English - addressing a cosmopolitan audience, interested in field information filtered by Italian taste.
Every month the magazine features, with an in-depth analysis, articles about the latest architecture projects, the most interesting developments of design and production, surveys on phenomena that in the broadest sense are connected to the world of projecting and design, with language completeness and high-quality images.
Abitare aims to guide its readers in the discovery of spaces and stories, through the description of projects by authors who, in an unconventional and original way, frame their stories within the traditional structure of the magazine.
In this field, great relevance is given to the comparison between projects in the section SOS ABITARE.
The presentation of projects of architecture and design is also supported by careful "technical" illustration, significantly called "Istruzioni per l"uso" (Instructions and Manuals).
The section "Portfolio" deals with themes tied to the production of furniture and materials for home interiors. A special and content-rich Portfolio is dedicated to the theme of Contract in the second part of the year.
Abitare is published monthly, with 10 issues per year. The April issue is published with the supplement "Abitare Pocket Milano", the best of Salone del Mobile with previews, appointments, trends and anticipations.
