Skoda at the Centenary of Giro d’Italia
In 2009 Giro d’Italia celebrates its 100th anniversary and Skoda – the official car for the third consecutive year – is publishing a contest with a new Octavia Wagon put up as a prize, which can be admired in all the stages, branded with the historical pages of La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Skoda is amongst the companies which have made the most of the new opportunities for multimedia integrated communication provided by RCS Pubblicità.
This initiative involves a launch campaign with a press and web advertising plan on the main publications of RCS MediaGroup. The operation will consist of a series of initiatives such as a “GazzaSkoda” personalization of some newsstands in seven Italian cities reached by Octavia Wagon Giro d’Italia and the sponsorship of the book and DVD of the Centenary of the Giro.
Final appointment in Venice on May 9th, to start the 100th Giro d’Italia as a sponsor and official car, to meet the millions of Italians who will crowd the route of the bicycle race.
